1. Pick a numeric variable of your choice and use it for the rest of this assignment. No code needed here.

2. Make a histogram of your numeric variable and describe its shape.

3. Perform a hypothesis test of your numeric variable against a value of your choice, using $$\alpha = 0.02$$. Please state your hypotheses.

4. Based on your test, which hypothesis is more likely given the data? State your conclusion as either “reject H0” or “fail to reject H0”, and explain why this conclusion is appropriate.

5. Interpret in context of the data your conclusion of the hypothesis test.

6. Interpret, in context of the data, the confidence interval that appropriately matches your hypothesis test above.

7. Pick a value for which you are guaranteed to reject the null hypothesis, H0. Justify your conclusion by updating your t.test(...) code.

8. Pick a value for which you are guaranteed to fail to reject the null hypothesis, H0. Justify your conclusion by updating your t.test(...) code.
