Classes begin again on Wednesday, March 25. In response to the switch to exclusively online instruction and the increased stress that we are all feeling, I will make several changes to our course. If for any reason you feel that you will have trouble meeting these adjusted requirements, please let me know as soon as possible so that we may find a suitable compromise.

Below, I try to provide all the details about the updated organization of our course for the rest of the semester.

Lectures will be pre-recorded, posted on my YouTube channel, and linked from my website. As such, there is no formal class period nor attendance requirement.

Student/office hours will be held every day of the week from 2pm to 4pm via the online video conference software Zoom. Use the following Zoom link to speak with me directly during student/office hours, https://csuchico.zoom.us/j/446741497, or use the Zoom session ID 446741497.

Labs will no longer be graded for attendance, but I will continue to provide labs so that you may have extra practice.

Homework will continue via our GitHub classroom, as we have done all semester.

Exams will be moved to take-home exams, which will be submit like homework assignemnts as RMarkdown documents compiled to HTML. For exams only, I want both the source code (.Rmd) and the output (.html).

If you have any questions or feel that I missed a crucial detail, please donโ€™t hesitate to ask or say something. Our Google form for asking questions anonymously remains open, ask.

I hope you that you all are safe and healthy.
